Due to further development in our portfolio of services we are now looking to recruit additional Physiotherapy staff with a number of potential opportunities available within the areas of Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead.

The post(s) are predominantly clinical involving the triage, assessment and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions presented in the workplace from a diverse range of occupations. It is envisaged that the post(s) may develop further with supplementary training to involve pre-employment screening, telephone triage, workstation & ergonomic assessments, mobility assessments and health promotion projects.

We are looking for Physiotherapist(s) with at least two years post graduate experience with direct experience in the field of musculoskeletal medicine. Specific experience within Occupational Health is desirable but not essential as additional training and regular mentoring will be provided.  You must be registered with the CSP and HPC and be able to demonstrate recent evidence of continual professional development. It is desirable that you are trained as a Physiotherapist to administer acupuncture as part of your practice. It is also essential that you have a full driving licence and your own car as travel between clinics will be part of the post.

It is important that you have a strong professional identity, are organised and committed to providing high quality care. This is an autonomous role therefore you must have the confidence to work independently as a Physiotherapist as well as effectively integrate and communicate with other members of the Occupational Health team. However as stated you will receive regular training and mentoring.
